As far as I know, yes. As long as they are on a leash. And remain by your side
Great food by chef Chad here! I had the Captain and it was some of the best fried seafood I have had in a long time. Some menu items are pricey but they do have some sandwiches that are easier on the budget. The iced tea is a great healthy drink here that tastes good and is quite refreshing.
So glad the Dip is open again this year. Good food. Great service. Charming inside and out.
Truly the best seafood around, while on vacation every year we travel from central Maine to visit this restaurant..seafood so fresh it will tslk back to you..
Great food ... Fresh and tasty, fun vibe and good views.
Very overpriced from a locals point of view
fresh sea food really good fried oysters and crab cakes
Great seafood
Good seafood and service
Great food and views. Worth the visit
Located in a quaint spot, it's a great place to have a cocktail and a lunch after visiting the lighthouse. The drinks were refreshing in this family style open seating spot. I had the kimchi calamari and it was excellent. It was fresh, crispy and tasty. Everyone seemed pleased with their meals,.lots of lobster rolls!
Service and food were excellent ! We ordered Lobster roll and fish tacos, both were delicious ! Sat outside with view of Port Clyde.
Wow ... great calamari. ... really good lobster roll ...
The steamers were great!
Good food. Great service.
Best steamed clams! German food awesome
Referred to them. Food as promised. Outstanding. Mmmmmmm
Absolutely perfect fried scallops and a relaxed atmosphere with views of the water. Great experience!!
Good food
Fried oysters were delicious! Great place to go after a day on Mohegan Island.
Best fish tacos, grilled fish w soft corn tortillas ! ( gluten free)
Fantastic place to eat. Wait staff was wonderful!! I grew up on Cape Cod, I take fresh fish quite seriously. The haddock I had tasted like it was just caught and filleted!! Hatd to find really fresh seafood where I now live. Highly recommend dining here.
Spectacular views, friendly service, tasty food
Not bad at all 😊.
Service was excellent, food was amazing and scallops were cooked to perfection! We will return during our stay!!!
No more Dip Net. I’ve been a Dip Net fan for years, bringing friends and family for the good food (before Linda took over -- it's now pricy and mediocre) and great view. (before and after Linda). No more. I will vote with my wallet and go elsewhere. I deplore Trump. What do he and Linda have in common? Rich kids who got fabulous inheritances and used little of it for the good of others. Goodbye Dip Net. I’ll go to Slipway, Primo and other great restaurants in the area when I’m up there — which is often.
Love the view
Great bloody Mary. I didn't eat there
Can't beat the view. Service isn't always the quickest, but the staff is very friendly and the food is tasty.
EDIT: It was great to have the owner reach out to us today, and clear up any misunderstanding. Great food, Great customer relations. Great $100 lunch for two. But when my wife's fish had hair in the batter, they offered to take it off the bill and replace it. Still got charged though, and was told owner determined she got her replacement anyways. So essentially, the disappointment of getting hair in her food resulted in her waiting longer, eating last, and eating alone. I see penalty instead of making up for the problem. Food tasted great, but hoping those policies don't follow her to Eclipse.
Delicious food and great service !
The "Dip Net" is wonderful!! Excellent menu and food as well. They have cocktails and it sits right on the dock on the water in Port Clyde. The servers are all exceptional. Perfect place to eat. Lots of seafood. Yesterday was there last day open for the season. See you next year! Great job Lexi! Olivia Ohara was the best server.
Right on the dock. Port Clyde seafood.
Always amazing! Food is the best around, view is beautiful and the service is wonderful. Look forward to going every year.
My crab roll was fantastic!!
Place is AWESOME. Don’t go. Our secret spot.
The fried cheese curds are amazing and my husband said that the Captain's Plate was the best fried seafood that he's ever had. (He's had a lot)
We ate there five times during our stay at Port Clyde. We loved it. Great food, good service and laid-back atmosphere.Bob P.Kittanning, PA
Lobster stew is apparently warm milk with lobster in it. But there is lobster in it.... It's gross
Wonderful food!
fish tacos amazing and gluten free.
Off the beaten path but worth the drive. Service was friendly and timely.
Food was ok but portions were very small.Prices weren't though.
Great food and the waitresses were kind, would come again!
The Maine Summer Salad ... the salad was so small I was astounded!! 14$ for this? Never again.
Great staff but the $30 captains platter was abysmally small.
Excellent; great atmosphere, wonderful food, and great service!
Whenever I go to Maine I make it a point to eat there. The fish is so fresh you might think there is a guy with a fishing pole at the end of the dock catching your dinner. The food was delicious, hot and fresh. If you like fresh seafood, reasonable prices served while sitting on the water. You will love this place.
We had a great experience at the Dip Net Restaurant. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable, the food was great and the views are unbeatable. Highly recommend.
Wonderful fresh seafood with a great atmosphere and fabulous service! The scallops were especially wonderful! We are looking forward to going back when in town again!
Great location, super staff
